H&G Contractors Pty Ltd is a Queensland owned construction company based in Ipswich. It performs commerial, industrial, civil and residential projects. H&G prides itself on quality of work and customer relations. Its two directors are Dan Petty and Myles Harm, who are both registered builders and have 40 years combined experience in the building industry.

Myles and Dan are always willing to listen and advise their clients on all facets of the building industry. H&G's clients include government departments, architects, and members of both the private and business sectors.

To keep up with both the innovative and heavily regulated building industry, H&G is a member of both "The Master Builders Association" and the "Housing Industry Association".


Myles attended Ipswich Boys Grammar Schools, before completing his carpenter and joiner trade in the late 1990's. Dan completed Senior at Rosewood High School. Straight after school, he started is apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner, working for a commercial builder completing projects all over South East Queensland. After completing his apprenticeship, Dan went sub-contracting, building houses for 2-3 years. He became a registered House Builder in 1995, building houses and rebovations in South East Queensland. While working as a construction supervisor in 2000, Myles approached him to consider joining forces and become a partner in H&G Contractors.

Both Myles and Dan take a very practical approach to their projects, while at all times understanding the client's wishes, and acheiving a positive outcome to all projects.
